StagePilot partnered with Twitch, Charli XCX and Warner Music Group to produce and livestream a global listening party celebrating the release of the highly anticipated Brat Remix album.
Set within the sweeping landscape of Storm King Art Center in upstate New York, the event blurred the line between performance art and fan experience. Charli hosted the listening session from inside a custom 30-foot sculpture inspired by the album’s vinyl sleeve – an intimate IRL gathering where only a few hundred fans received access, making the livestream the primary way for audiences worldwide to participate.
The production mandate was clear: preserve the authenticity of the moment without turning the space into a traditional film set. StagePilot designed a discreet capture approach using multiple iPhones operated from within the crowd alongside two cinema-grade drones that delivered sweeping aerial perspectives. By minimizing visible production gear, the team maintained a raw, immersive atmosphere that aligned with Charli’s creative vision while still achieving broadcast-quality storytelling.
All production, editing, streaming, and drone operations were controlled remotely from an RV hidden in the surrounding landscape, allowing the event to unfold naturally without disruption. The result was a livestream that felt immediate, intimate, and culturally distinct — transforming a limited-capacity listening party into a global experience. Widely covered across music and culture media, the IRL event and its livestream quickly became one of the year’s most talked-about releases, demonstrating how innovative production design can expand access while protecting the integrity of an artist’s world.
The IRL event and livestream was one of the most memorable and widely covered and shared music events of the year.
